Late Summer ~ Staying Healthy With The Seasons

Late Summer or "Indian Summer" can be a time of extreme metamorphosis in nature and within ourselves.

The ruling organ of this season is the spleen, while the ruling organ of the beginning to mid-summer belongs to the heart. A weakened condition in the spleen may show up as a yellowish hue in the face and around the eyes. The lips may appear pale and dry, while the heart conditions may show up as rosacea, excessive tissue heat and inflammation, broken capillaries. Excessive sugar, especially during the summer months can contribute to painful menstrual problems, which can lead to skin cysts and hormonal breakouts.

Summer suggestions for the Spleen and Heart ~

~ Exercise everyday- especially a brisk walk.

~ Sweat- sweat, sweat, sweat!

~ Sweets- avoid excessive sugar intake to avoid cellular suicide.

~ Avoid sleep deprivation-Essential deep sleep- is beneficial as a day at the spa.

~ Fresh vegetables and fruit (lots!) Herbicide free

~ Live a life of thankfulness- Pray and give thanks to God for all that you have.

"In everything give thanks"... 1 Thessolonians 5:18
